Why does a 20-minute YouTube video need 8 ads?
I no longer watch TV, but I remember atleast 3–5 commercial breaks showing 3–5 commercials each time during a “30 minute” television show. Youtube has become television. But it’s videos from regular people. Most who are a waste of time to watch.
I’m not subscribing to YouTube just to not see ads
How bout I just not watch the video? I’ll click off the video when I see those orange dashes. That’s ridiculous to have so many ads on one video — even short videos.
Garbage YouTube Content
Most content on YouTube is worthless and a waste of time — my time. Nothing on there helps me further my life or goals. So if I click off of a video because it has too many ads I am not missing out on anything important that’s of value anyway. Everybody on there trying to make money — from ads. People don’t make quality content with the goal of helping others. The goal is to make money.
All these subscriptions based platform need to merge into one
You should pay like $5/month for ad free use of YouTube, Netflix, Medium, Spotify, Pandora, and so on. I’m not big on watching television, YouTubers or listening to music to where I’m about to binge on these platforms. If you subscribe to every platform you will be spend atleast $100/ month to waste your time.
