Why Do Black Parents Only Help The Loser Children?

When black people graduate from college no one cares — there is no celebration. When black people come home from prison, there is a celebration.

I came across this article written in 2012 by a college educated black man called, Educated Blacks vs. Uneducated Blacks. In this article, the writer explained how his father did not help him with college, but instead helping his jail bird brother.

I could relate with this article. My parents never helped me with my education, but instead helped my siblings who were not and are not trying to be productive members of society.

I am a black female. The youngest of six. I have a sister that lives at home with three children — all by different fathers. She does not work and dropped out in the 10th grade. My mother allows my sister to live at home for free. My mother takes care of my sister and her children.

I have a brother who has two children by different mothers. He may have more now. My brother starting selling drugs in high school. My brother has been in and out of prison for selling drugs. My parents sent my brother money while he was in prison.

My parents have never sent me anything while going through college and law school. My parents did not help me with books or with any bills. I needed help with my rent and my parents did not care or help me.
