The Love of White America Consumerism

When niggas make it they want you to know it.

The same type of cars that white people drive in South Park Charlotte, NC. White people don’t go hey look at me in my new Bentley and then upload it to Instagram.

Do white men buy their mothers luxury cars? I’m sure they do. But is it a thing? Do they record and take pictures?

Black people (not me though) are under the impression they must buy expensive cars for themselves and their mothers. I’m not understanding that.

Black people are still broke — collectively and individually. Black people buy luxury vehicles and designer clothes to try to look better than other black broke people. They try to boost their self-esteem with material things. Black people been doing this for years. They buy $100+ Jordans and live in poverty, ride the bus, have no savings or checking account, don’t know what 2+2 is, don’t know that they shouldn’t claim US citizenship, they don’t know that paying taxes isn’t mandatory, but rather voluntary, or that they should not even have a social security number.

Black people are too caught up in shiny things instead of sticking their nose in a book to really get out of slavery. Nothing is cute about being a consumer. Nothing is cute about showing the world you are a consumer. Nothing is cute about advertising name brand…
