My UberEats Driver Delivered To The Wrong Apartment
I ordered from UberEats today. I received notification that my order was delivered. I opened the door and didn’t see my order. I even received a picture of the order placed by the door. Unfortunately it was the wrong door. I looked at the carpet in the picture compared the carpet to the carpet outside my door and it didn’t match. I said something ain’t right.
I contacted the driver who started September 2020. She answered. I told her I didn’t get it. She said she put the order at apartment 225. I live in 2#5.
She made a mistake. No big deal. Mistakes happen nobody is perfect or free from errors. I went to the other apartment and my order was there. I grabbed it and went back to my place.
I called Nakidah back just to tell her that I found it. She apologized. I said it was okay and I’ll tip her on the app.
I use to deliver food for DoorDash and Postmates. I know how it is. That was my only income at one point. I know the struggle.
I only used UberEats twice this year. What I liked with them was that you can contact the driver even after they hit delivered and left. The other apps don’t let you contact the driver after pressing delivered. If this option was not available I would not have been able to call her and find where my order was. I thought somebody stole it, but the carpet in the picture of the order didn’t match.
