I’m black, but I’m not outraged about the murder of Ahmaud Arbery

I don’t care another black man was gunned down in America by white people

Black people kill each other everyday across the world. It’s only when a black man is shot down by a white man it’s a problem.

When I was 19, just 2 years after graduating high school, one of my classmates was shot down like Arbery with a shot gun. People using shot guns look like they are hunting. Nonetheless, my classmates was killed by a black man who happened to be his girlfriend’s father. He’s serving time for the crime.

There was no outrage from Detroit. Of course the family wanted “justice,” but there was no state or national attention. Why is that? Why does the color of the murderers or alleged murderers make a difference?

We see celebrities post pictures of their murdered family members, but other celebrities don’t repost the picture. We see now many celebrities posting Arbery’s pictures. Is it only because the alleged murderers are white?

Black people don’t work together or value each other lives enough to protest black on black murder.

Everyone takes death differently. But I believe, this man is in a better place because

Death gotta be easy cause life is hard.

I’m all for social change. I would love to see a world where it’s all good all the time and equal and no harm done to no one. I believe change starts within first. You can’t cry wolf. Black people have to stop doing this. Black people have to like each other first and work together. I’m not seeing the same outrage when there are black on black crimes and that is puzzling. The same emotions should be triggered no matter the race.

Why do emotions change because of color?
