I was fired the day before thanksgiving. “Happy thanksgiving, you’re fired”. Don’t stop, drop, and roll. Don’t feel sorry for me. It’s not like I had a well-paying permanent job with great benefits. What happened to those type of jobs — the kind that pay good money and provide benefits? I was just a temporary employee. I have always been a temp since graduating from law school. I hate it. Low pay, job ends abruptly, and no benefits. I was born in poverty and still in poverty. I went to college — twice. I fell for the bait, the false promises, the hope. I have a bachelor’s degree and a law degree. But who cares? No one is beating down my door looking to hire me. I wish I made good money. I wish I made good money over a long period of time where I could save a nice amount. I feel like I am just surviving — paying bills, not enjoying life.

After getting fired, I started thinking about ways to make some money. I am using my own skills to try to make some money. As far as wage W-2 employment, my options are limited. I have health problems. I can’t do strenuous labor or stand on my feet for long hours. So, I decided to check out these delivery gig apps that everybody do. I tried to go back to Doordash. My account was deactivated. They told me that they was not going to activate it again. So, I moved on. .
