College Educated People Working in Warehouses Making Low Wages
I have a bachelor’s degree. I have a 3 year law degree. . Education pays off for some. But it has NOT paid off for me. I would say, don’t waste your time going to college unless you got something definite lined up after you graduate.
I have close to $400K worth of STUDENT LOAN DEBT. I’ll probably die before it’s ever paid off. Education was $0 ROI for me. I’ve worked at various Amazon warehouses and temp jobs that ended abruptly that had no type of health benefits or 401K.
I know people look at other people success and think that could be them. You need to look at other people failures too. Cause everybody not gone make it.
The system has to work — or appear to look like it works — so that people buy into the idea of college. So there will be winners. But mostly there are losers. I’ve worked in only temp jobs since I’ve graduated. Nothing permanent. I’ve applied everywhere. Education means absolutely nothing. Because education is not factored in your wages.
I’ve worked at Amazon warehouses. Amazon hires felons. College education supposed to improve your employment outcomes. Education supposed to improve your social environment. It’s something wrong when you have college educated people…
